What do the team do?

Our HR function supports the leadership teams around the business by providing them with high quality expertise on all people related matters. The team is comprised of 13 people to manage resourcing, operations, internal training, wellbeing and reward, and is led by a partner and director.

Our dedicated Resourcing team is comprised of three people, who are responsible for recruiting talent across all grades at Price Bailey, from trainee to partner level. With the firm's ambitious growth plans, we hire a significant number of accountancy trainees each year to support its continued success.

With our Early Careers Advisor due to go on maternity leave, we're looking for someone in her absence to primarily oversee the attraction and recruitment of school leavers and graduates, as well as managing our work experience programmes. You will also have the opportunity to support with Experienced Hire recruitment and wider HR projects too. This is a 9 month fixed term contract, with the potential for it to be extended in the future.

What will I be doing?

As an Early Careers Advisor you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment of school leavers, graduates, and placement students, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design and launch targeted early careers campaigns that attract top talent.
  • Build strong partnerships with schools, academies, and universities to promote Price Bailey as an employer of choice.
  • Coordinate and attend careers fairs alongside colleagues, using our current trainees as ambassadors to inspire future applicants.
  • Own the selection process, from scheduling assessment centres to refining recruitment materials and ensuring robust, inclusive hiring practices.
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as Professional Studies to ensure seamless onboarding and a diverse, well-supported trainee intake.
  • Support wider HR team with recruitment of Experienced Hire vacancies during trainee recruitment off-season, as well as any ad hoc HR project work.

What experience do I need?

Whilst having the following experience is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria listed below and are eager to develop yourself, we would love to hear from you:

  • Previous recruitment experience in either an inhouse team or a recruitment agency (minimum criteria)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and/or high volume recruitment campaigns (minimum criteria)
  • Experience of trainee recruitment in a professional services firm would be advantageous
  • An assured and effective communicator with strong stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to work at pace and manage multiple priorities at any one time
  • Excellent attention to detail
