What do the team do?
The Marketing and Business Development department at Price Bailey is a high-performing, collaborative team with a strong digital focus on driving high quality leads into the firm, building on our growing brand and reputation, and positioning the practice as thought-leaders within the industry.
You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of events for the firm, both internally and externally, from concept to execution. You will be organising events around the UK and potentially on an international level, so the flexibility to travel when necessary is required.
What will I be doing?
As an Events Coordinator you will have ownership of the following tasks:
- Responsibility for the creation of events (not limited to; conferences, dinners and meetings of various sizes) from ideation stage through to the coordination and on the day arrangements.
- Updating and maintaining events and sponsorship calendars and ensure our people are aware of events and sponsorship opportunities.
- Sourcing, visiting and selecting suitable venues that align with event requirements and budgets.
- Organising catering services, track dietary requirements, book speakers, equipment rentals and layout requirements to create a comfortable and engaging environment for attendees.
- Carrying out risk assessments and ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts with suppliers, ensuring the best possible terms and conditions.
- Working with the Marketing team to provide the best exposure of the event and ensure all necessary marketing materials and branding are sourced and delivered.
What experience do I need?
Whilst having the following experience is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria listed below and are eager to develop yourself, we would love to hear from you:
- Significant experience of organising large corporate events simultaneously from commencement to completion in a professional services environment (minimum criteria).
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety requirements (minimum criteria).
- Experience of working to budgets and tracking costs.
- A confident, positive attitude and a strong desire to deliver high quality events and experiences.
- A trustworthy individual who can demonstrate reliability, discretion, confidentiality and flexibility.
- Someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
