Systems Implementation Manager (0402)

Make your career count

At Price Bailey, we provide exciting opportunities for training, personal growth and career engagement. We believe in fostering happiness and fulfilment in your work, whilst supporting and inspiring you to grow. We understand that your life extends beyond the workplace, which is why our Smart Working culture promotes flexibility, allowing you to choose when and where you work, whilst still providing excellent client care.

We are a well-established, independently owned firm of chartered accountants and business advisors, offering a comprehensive range of services including audit, accounting, tax, and corporate finance. We proudly support a diverse client base across the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses that share our passion for innovation.

What do the team do?

Our Outsourcing department is rapidly evolving and has quadrupled in size over the past few years to meet the needs of its ever growing client base. The Outsourcing team currently consists of around 35 people across London, Cambridge and Norwich, with a balance of experience across each location.

The purpose of the department is to deliver a flexible outsourced finance function tailored to each client's needs. This can range from a fully outsourced “top to bottom” solution, to hybrid support alongside an in-house finance team, or more targeted compliance-based services such as VAT reviews. The team supports a wide variety of clients across sectors and sizes, with a strategic focus on sectors including Charities and Not for Profit, Education, Healthcare, Property, Construction, E-Commerce, Hospitality and Gaming.

Alongside our sector focus, we are continuing to develop a dedicated systems specialism and broaden the range of services we offer in this area. We regularly undertake system and process reviews for new clients as part of onboarding, as well as standalone assignments where businesses are looking to improve efficiency or address operational challenges. In addition, we support a wide range of implementations and system migrations. Building on our strong track record in this space, we are now looking to further enhance and expand our capability as demand continues to grow.

What will I be doing?

As a Systems Implementation Manager you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Understand client needs, processes and pain points, identifying bottlenecks and improvements.
  • Lead system and process reviews for new and existing clients, recommending practical solutions.
  • Guide clients through end-to-end system journeys, from review and selection through to implementation and support.
  • Recommend best-fit cloud accounting systems and tools based on client needs.
  • Lead implementations and migrations, ensuring timely delivery, adoption and effective training.
  • Support and develop the team's systems capability, including mentoring and involvement in projects (e.g. migrations, workflow tools, AI solutions).
  • Help shape and grow our systems specialism, including service design, pricing and market positioning.
  • Support partnership initiatives, including delivering system implementations and migrations (e.g. Iplicit).

  • Excellent practical experience of AI and LLM's, particularly where this supports workflow improvements, automation or client delivery.
